6. John Kirkpatrick was born about 1712 in Dumfriesshire, Scotland. He died about 1743 in West Nottingham Township, Chester Co., Pennsylvania. This John Kirkpatrick b. ca. 1712 is most probably the John Kirkpatrick l isted as having been born ca. 1715 in Scotland; brother to James Kirkpa trick known as "The Immigrant" for the South Carolina Branch of the fam ily.
