38. James Robert Engle was born on 31 May 1824 in Knox Co., Kentucky.^78,91 He died on 21 January 1880 at the age of 55.²⁰⁵ He was buried in Elhannan Clark Graveyard, Jackson Co., Kentucky.⁹⁵ Was a minister as stated in letter from Virginia Shepherd dated May 7, 1972.
Also stated on 1860 census of Jackson Co. KY that he was a Baptist Preacher. Elizabeth Miller and James Robert Engle were married on 28 October 1845 in Knox Co., Kentucky.²⁰⁶

39. Elizabeth Miller was born on 12 October 1828 in Kentucky.⁹¹ She died on 28 October 1858 at the age of 30 in Jackson Co., Kentucky.¹³³
