Hugh Lawrence Kirkpatrick and Malinda Moore were married on 28 September 1854. Malinda Moore was born on 8 February 1833.⁴ She died on 13 November 1921 at the age of 88.⁴ She was buried in Carl Cemetery, Carl, Adams Co., Iowa.⁴
