1026. Sylvanus Edward Kirkpatrick was born on 12 November 1824 in Tennessee.¹⁴⁵ He died on 10 January 1890 at the age of 65.^145,146 He was buried in John Fowler Cemetery, Clay Co., Tennessee.⁹

Sylvanus (Silvanus?) Edward Kirkpatrick was the third child of Ellis and Ann (Fowler) Kirkpatrick. He was born in Tennessee 12 Novmeber 1824 and died 10 January 1890. He is buried in the cemetery located in the upper end of Tinsley's Bottom in Clay County, Tennessee. On 4 September 1845 in Jackson County, Tennessee he married Lenora M. Roberts, who was born about 1828 in Tennessee. She probably predeceassed Sylvanus, and he may have married a second wife, Sally G. _____, who was born ca. 1830-1835 and died 5 March 1905 in Tinsley's Bottom, Clay County, Tennessee.

There were seven (7) children born of the marriage.

On the 1880 U. S. Census of District 1, Clay Co., Tennessee, Silo Kirkpatrick appears with his wife Sallie and children James R., Albert, Annie, Martha, Lenora, Lydia J. and Mary. Also in the household is a granddaughter listed as Dada Kirkpatrick age 6. Silo is a farmer.

Sylvanus Edward Kirkpatrick and Lenora M. Roberts were married on 4 September 1845 in Jackson Co., Tennessee. Lenora M. Roberts was born in 1828 in Tennessee. She died between 1870 and 1880 at the age of 42 in Tennessee.

Sylvanus Edward Kirkpatrick and Sally Glen Anderson were married after 1870 in Tennessee. Sally Glen Anderson was born on 19 March 1830 in Tennessee.^4,400 She died on 5 March 1905 at the age of 74. She was buried in John Fowler Cemetery, Clay Co., Tennessee.⁹
