Elizabeth ("Betsey") Kirkpatrick was born ca. 1800 or 1801 in Big Bottom, Jackson County, Tennessee. She died 28 July 1845, probably in Jackson County. According to Rev. Isaac P. Reneau, she died of "epidemial fever" (probably typhoid fever), one of many Kirkpatrick's and others to succumb in 1845. She married Ashel Davis.
