Anne Kirkpatrick was born in Madison County, Kentucky, 15 March 1793 and died in 1867 in Jackson County, Tennessee. She married on 10 March 1810 in Tennessee to Jonathan Rogers, son of Ralph Rogers, who was born 26 September 1783, in Tennessee. Ralph Rogers was possibly the brother of Clayton Rogers, executor of the estate of Francis Kirkpatrick in South Carolina, and perhaps kinsman of Matthew Rogers, a guardian of Francis' son John in 1802.

The children of Jonathan and Anne Rogers were all born in Jackson County, Tennessee, prior to the move of the Rogers family to Franklin County, Illinois.

There were fourteen (14) children born of the marriage.
